  • Clinical pharmacy - drug and fluid administration and problem drugs.

  • Clinical risk management - serious events involving CVADs

  • Identifying complications and strategies for management and prevention.

  • Interactive lab practicum which includes dressing, changing access devices, blood sampling, flushing, accessing Portacaths, troubleshooting PICC, Hickman, non tunneled CVC and Portacaths.

  • Scenarios - group work.
