The National Bowel Screening Programme is a free programme for men and women aged 60 to 74 years.
The National Screening Unit (NSU) is within the Ministry of Health and is responsible for the development, management and monitoring of nationally-organised population-based screening in New Zealand. This website aims to provide information on the five nationally-based screening programmes, and one quality improvement initiative, the services provided and how to access them.
