    Adult Acute Inpatient Service (Te Awakura) is a Four ward complex at Hillmorton Hospital providing assessment and treatment for adults with acute mental illness when 24 hour nursing care is required.

    Te Komiti Whakarite was established to assess and provide cultural advice through the development, implementation and review of the Christchurch Hospital Māori Health Plan.

    Terminations of Pregnancy (Gynaecology Procedure Unit - previously Lyndhurst)

    The Gynae Procedure Unit provides first trimester termination of pregnancy (8-13 weeks) and assessment for second trimester pregnancy. The service is available to women in Canterbury and via referrals from South Canterbury and West Coast DHBs.
